Basket ball

Basket ball with the kiwi sports people

For P.E the kiwi sports coaches came to our school to teach us about the game of basketball with us. We started off with a game of basket ball tag. Have you played basketball tag before? We had to tag people with the ball then they will freeze. To free them we had to do the floss for 5 seconds.

We had to make our tummy face the ball so we did some cool passing it was hard but I could do it. The time I had some momentum I dropped the ball then I got really mad with myself.

So then we did some moves. One was called the sandwich, we had to spin while dribbling it was easy. You use the sandwich in a game so the opponent can't steal the ball from you. Another trick was bouncing the ball through our l
egs. In total there was five tricks.

I was sweating!!! But then it was near the end so we played a  Game.We had to be in a circle and we had to tackle the ball from the other player.  then were in the middle and try save the ball.

I was sweating but then I had a big drink of water. Then I was ok. I did writing after and then I was finished.

Mono print

 Mono Print
Hello bloggers this week we did a mono print. To create a mono print you need a big piece of paper and a sketching pencil and an A3 board and a roller with black paint.

So first you need to create your drawing and shape it with the board to make the drawing an A3 size. Then trace it on a window to make 2 of the same pictures. You then need to paint the A3 board black with the roller.

Then you line the pictures up with the black boards. The size must be A3. Then you outline the picture so it can show on the bottom of the paper. Then you lift up the paper carefully and let it dry and then colour it in.

                                                                               Rehearsal

KIA ORA bloggers,
For rehearsals we are practising for production - it was about Aladdin, but we changed things it was now called 'Jasmine and Aladdin.'

We have been working on it for three weeks so far. My roll is ...a palace guard. Although I didn't get any set lines, I have to say some lines that my teacher has added to the script. I have to be on stage three times.

The production will be performed in Term Four, right now we're in Term Three. We have seven weeks left to practise! There is a funny part with the camel and Omar the enemy and the servant Geewiz.
