The Spark Arena Trip!!! 😀

                                                       Spark Arena Trip

SPLASH!!! As we jump into the big ball pit. Hi bloggers, today the year sixes went on an amazing trip to spark arena in the city. We were so lucky because it costs 70$ but we had it for free thanks to Brendon Hines the CEO of Spark Arena. We traveled there on bus, it took so long but we knew it would be AWESOME.

When we got there we met a lady her name was Suzy Cato. She led us to the area where we played music the Sounds Fun. We met the CEO of Spark Arena, he talked us through the rules. We first had to wait for the other classes to do their thing then we could do our first thing.

The first thing we did was to go to the Happy Place which is a place with all kinds of fun things to do. When we got inside we saw a cool Porsche. When we arrived to the top we had to go through a cool door which led us to a ball bit. In order to go in the ball pit we had to get in a line then JUMP into the ball pit. A while later I went down a small slide which was pretty cool. Then we went in a room with mirrors which was hard for us to see where were going, there was also a bath with rubber ducks we went in and took photos. Finally we went into a confetti room and we were playing and throwing confetti at each other. 10 mins later we had to get out and go to our next place.

The next thing we had to do was to go inside the place we started the Sounds Fun place. We had to use the instruments. The first one I used was a trumpet I was pretty good at it after I finished I decided to go to the electric drums. I was also really good at it but I had a few mistakes, the way you use, It's just like the real drums. But a little different because there was head phones and we hit the drum at the time the TV says. I also played a piano game where it was the same as the drums but it had a key board and buttons. Finlay we got a sticker and could go to our next stop.

The next place had interesting pictures to look at, it was pretty cool. Then we had to go to another place but with big screens showing pictures that a famous artist named Van Gogh painted. It took such a long time but then 30 minutes later we could go through a place with flowers and back out to the exit and on to our final thing.

At the end we had a lunch bag for FREE I was very grateful and lucky. In the lunch there  was an apple, a sandwich with juice and chips. After we finished the yummy food we could go back to school.

I loved spark arena I hope I can go there AGAIN!!!!!

  1. Ka pai Naweed, this is a detailed recount of an exciting experience! It sounds as though each section of the trip was enjoyable - which was your favourite part? I'm really impressed to see that you have labelled your emotions as grateful and lucky, we were really fortunate that Waikowhai School was offered the experience. I'm sure you will be completing some 'Thank You' acknowledgements for the organisers. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
